Every March, Alaminos City, Pangasinan goes all out for a month-long party called the Hundred Islands Festival. It's a delicious way to celebrate their amazing harvest and get more tourists to visit.

One of the coolest things they do is a giant oyster grilling session called "Talaba Ihaw-Ihaw." Basically, a ton of fresh oysters get cooked up right there in the streets! The mayor even wants their oysters to be as famous as their yummy longganisa sausage.

The city's also super proud of its oyster farms, which grow hundreds of tons of oysters every year. And get this, they're using a new, eco-friendly way to farm them with special bamboo rafts! It's good for the environment and makes the oysters even tastier.

But the festival isn't all about food (though the food is pretty awesome). There are light parades, crazy street dancing competitions, a Miss Hundred Islands pageant, and even a hip-hop dance showdown! Plus, you can explore the incredible Hundred Islands National Park, which is seeing more and more visitors every year.

So, if you're looking for a fun party with delicious oysters, awesome shows, and beautiful islands, the Hundred Islands Festival is the place to be!
